As part of our English B’s investigations into the Communications and Media portion (CORE) of the course, students have written blog posts focusing on the potential benefits and dangers of new technologies. This theme was inspired by the short story “A Sound of Thunder” by Ray Bradbury, which we studied as part of our ongoing Literature unit. This task roughly mimics the Language B Written Assignment, though in this case everyone will use this collective Class Rationale instead of writing their own.
Each student has focused on one specific technology that is either a recent invention or a potential invention that may soon become a reality.
